In-Home Consult

Locations: Wittmann & Surprise, AZ Duration: 60-90 minutes

How I Help: During our consultation, I will take a thorough medical history of you, your baby and birth. I will evaluate your baby’s latch and oral anatomy and address any concerns you may have. I will help guide you in creating a plan to accomplish your feeding goals. I will take your baby’s weight pre and post feeding to establish how much they are getting. Most importantly, I will address all your concerns so you are empowered and confident in your breastfeeding journey. Our consult also includes a follow-up phone call.

• Latching & positioning skills

• Troubleshooting tips

• Breast pump flange fitting

• How to power pump

• Establishing your milk supply

• How to treat clogged ducts

• Breast massage, gua sha and heating pad tips

• Safe nipple care products

• Any baby related care such as sleep tips, soothing tips, bathing and more

• Bottle and formula feeding tips

• Weaning tips

Price: $120

You can check your insurance eligibility through The Lactation Network.

Lactation Consults are a qualified expense covered under most HSA/FSA accounts.

Please note, that while I do not work with insurance companies directly, most will reimburse you for lactation services. Always check with your insurance provider for your specific benefits. Payment is due at time of service. I accept cash, check, credit card or payments through HSA accounts.
